At 96W it also fully charges the 16-inch MacBook Pro and handles every other USB-C Apple device: MacBook Air, iPad Pro, iPhone. The compact body with folding UK plug makes it practical for desk and travel use alike. As a genuine Apple adapter it handles Apple's USB Power Delivery negotiation correctly - third-party adapters at this wattage frequently deliver incorrect power profiles that reduce MacBook charge speed or cause thermal warnings. A cable is not included and must be purchased separately - a USB-C Charge Cable or USB-C to MagSafe 3 Cable depending on your MacBook model.

Fast Charge MacBook Pro 14″ & 16″
96W is the rated output for the MacBook Pro 14-inch (2021 and later) fast charging - taking the battery from 0% to around 50% in approximately 30 minutes when used with a compatible cable. The MacBook Pro 16-inch draws up to 140W at peak load, but 96W charges it at a reasonable rate during normal use and charges it fully when the lid is closed or the machine is idle. For MacBook Air (M1, M2, M3) the 96W adapter is more than sufficient and provides faster top-up charging than the standard 30W or 35W adapters. Actual charge speed is always determined by the Mac's own charging circuitry - 96W establishes the ceiling.
